He always treated and talked to me in such a caring manner and never made me feel like I should feel ashamed of my situation. Going into this I was positive I was looking at jail time because I have had previous convictions for a dui. From the beginning he reassured me that things would work out and to not worry and trust him. He was always honest of his expectations and the issues that we had to deal with but he never doubted that things would work out. After countless negotiations he worked out a plea. In the plea I was going to do house arrest which I was feeling great about. But Rob never stopped working. Even after our initial plea agreement he continued working and found new information which lead to him getting my dui reduced to negligent driving with no jail time, probation and minimal fees. The accuser had a witness and partial video evidence all in their favor while I had no witnesses and no video evidence of the incident to validate my innocence. I thought my life was over but this wasn’t a problem for Mr. Ault as he was assertive and direct with getting the charge dropped without prejudice quickly so I was able to get back to school and work as soon as possible.
